One point of focus for the Hans and Ilse Breuer Foundation is the promotion of research.

It is concentrated around two measures: the Alzheimer Research Award and the Alzheimer Research Scholarship.
 

In addition, the Foundation promotes scientific collaboration and advocates the need for a scientific network in relation to Alzheimer’s disease.
